We love Harry Potter and Butterbeer!
So apparently there’s a National Day for everything and today (September 19th) is ‘National Butterscotch Pudding Day’. We’re going to hold off on the pudding and celebrate a key ingredient in Harry Potter’s famous Butterbeer — butterscotch.
It is cold, sugary, dreamy and buttery all at once.
Now there are many different recipes for how to make Butterbeer and everyone may have their preference. However, the internet has ruled that Butterbeer from Wizarding World of Harry Potter is hands down the best. If you’ve tried it, you are in luck because behold the magical recipe below!
HOW TO MAKE BUTTERBEER:
Place the following in a blender:
- 8 ice cubes
- Half of a 1.75-quart container of vanilla ice cream
- 3 cups of cream soda (24 oz.)
- 6 oz. butterscotch topping (found in the ice cream toppings section)
Puree until smooth.
Next, pour into glasses, top with whipped cream and a drizzle of butterscotch syrup and serve immediately! YUM!
