The adventure kicks off at the registration party which is your launchpad for the crawl. When you arrive, you’ll check in with one of our Bar Crawl USA staff members and receive your golden ticket: a lanyard with an attached map. This isn’t just a stylish accessory; it’s your key to taco heaven. The lanyard card comes loaded with tear-away tabs (usually 4 or 5, depending on your ticket type), which act as your taco currency for the day. Hang onto it tight – no tabs, no tacos!
The map is your guide to the participating bars and restaurants. It’ll show you where to go, what time each spot is ready to serve, and where the party’s popping off. Take a quick scan to get the lay of the land, and you’re ready to roll.
Step 2: Taco Tabs – How They Work
Your tear-away tabs are meal vouchers. Each one gets you a free taco at any participating venue. Just hand a tab to a staff member at the designated quick service taco station and enjoy! No cash or cards needed. With 300+ tacos served per bar, favorites can go fast so grab yours early

The map includes suggested time slots for each stop to keep the crowd moving smoothly and the energy high. Bars will be staffed up and ready with tacos and entertainment during those windows, so it’s a great starting point.
That said, this crawl is all about flexibility. Spot a line that’s too long? Hear a DJ dropping beats across the street? Pivot and explore! There’s no wrong way to crawl as long as you’re eating, drinking, and having a blast. Just keep an eye on the clock, you’ve got about 6 hours to soak it all in.
